ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

104  Days/Year – Schedule Flexible

This is a new position created by retirement of Associate Executive Director Ginny Anderson.

Applicants should have an appreciation for, and experience in education-based athletics.

Candidates must have proven oral and written skills, with demonstrated experience in technology.

Based upon abilities, the successful candidate will be assigned staff responsibilities and liaison positions to specific standing committees.

Salary: $21,000 (Benefits are not provided), with significant schedule flexibility.  Because MIAA is a 501-c-3 organization, the salary would have no impact upon MTRS benefits.   Out of pocket expenses (e.g. mileage to meetings) would be reimbursed.

Applications will close on Friday, May 30, 2008.  The selection process will be concluded in June, with the start date around August 1.
