We gather each year to celebrate the many opportunities girls and women have to compete in sports throughout the Commonwealth and the Nation. This year our event will be returning in person to Faneuil Hall.
Consider registering two deserving female athletes from your school for this important event using the link below. There is no fee for the event; commemorative T-shirts are available (see registration form for details).
The MIAA Women in Leadership Committee yearly recognizes women who have worked with distinction on behalf of the girls’ sports in their communities with the Massachusetts Women in Athletics Distinguished Service Award (MWADSA). This award celebrates the efforts of those whose contributions have had a lasting and profound effect on female student athletes.
Nominations for the 2022-2023 MWADSA Award have closed. Please watch this space and submit your nominee next year!
The Massachusetts Virtual Celebration of Girls and Women in Sports Day was held virtually Thursday, May 27, 2021. Video of the entire program is posted below.
