Wellness Coordinator of the Year Award

Award Information

Must be a current or recent school wellness coordinator.

This award recognizes the individual who goes above and beyond to promote wellness in the school community, is a positive role model; and whose students benefit as a result of his or her efforts to keep young people safe and substance free.

  • Emails are sent out to schools in the fall seeking nominations.
  • A letter is submitted highlighting the nominees achievements
  • All nomination must be endorsed by the school principal
  • Deadline one month prior to the Annual Wellness Summit (date to be determined)
  • Recipient is selected by the MIAA Educational Athletics Staff
