We believe the platform of interscholastic athletics exposes young people to enduring principles needed to navigate the uncertainty and unpredictability of everyday life.

• The continuum of personal growth from awareness of self to interdependence with others.
• The ability to direct their efforts toward a cause that puts the service of others above the interests of the self.
• The value of ambition and the importance of making disciplined decisions that are in alignment with their principles.
• The value of commitment and building authentic relationships with others toward a common set of goals.
• The practice of humility and gratitude by simply responding with a “thank you!” when they experience success.
• The ability to persevere with integrity when they experience adversity.

As a result, our cause shall be to promote the development of the personal and interpersonal growth of our membership so they may learn the key attributes inherent in lives well lived.
