Job Start Date: August 15, 2025
Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the teaching of fundamentals, strategies, rules and proper
conditioning in the sport of football.
Responsible for coordinating the defensive unit
Instills teamwork, a competitive spirit and good sportsmanship among all team members.
Models good character in a way that is clearly viewed by all team members and coaches.
Responsible for ensuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual
orientation or disability.
Maintain clear and transparent communication with the head coach and athletic director.
Maintains records regarding team performances.
Job Requirements
In-depth, comprehensive knowledge of football and its rules.
Ability to motivate and lead others.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience as a head or assistant football coach in high school or college is preferred.
Experience playing varsity football in high school and/or college is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
Certification in Implicit Bias and Concussion Training with NFHSlearn.com will be required when hired and follow these
procedures for all athletes during the season.
Knowledge of care, use and selection of equipment.
Knowledge of the defensive backfield and multiple coverages along with LB play.
Knowledge of wide receiver play and be able to coach individual time on offense.
