caution

The MIAA / MSAA Office will be closed the week of July 29 through August 2 for our annual shutdown. The office will reopen at 8 am on Monday, August 5.

Game Exclusions

Just a reminder that in the statewide tournament qualification and seeding all games count (including exclusion games). There is no longer need for a game exclusion form.

See July 1, 2023 thru June 30, 2025 MIAA Handbook language below:

MIAA Rule 34.1.2 Game Exclusion Notice: Member Schools may exceed the maximum number of seasonal competitions by two and exceed the weekly limit by one, when scheduling contests with the approved exclusion schools. Excluded schools are only allowed to play the maximum number of seasonal competitions and may compete against each other. All game exclusion contests will count in tournament qualification and ranking/seeding system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Greater Boston League (GBL) schools were removed from the ‘Approved Exclusion’ list at the end of the 2023-24 school year, per their request. The schools include Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere and Somerville.
