2021-2022 Sanctioned Events

NFHS Sanctioning is required for events that meet any of the numbered criteria listed below. For more information about NFHS Sanctioning and the corresponding sanctioning application fees, please click on the links provided below:

NFHS Sanctioning Criteria

  1. Any interstate or international event involving 2 or more schools which is co-sponsored by or titled in the name of an organization outside the high school community.
  2. Events in non-bordering states if 5 or more states are involved, and at least one (1) of which does not border the host state.
  3. Events in non-bordering states if more than 8 schools are involved.
  4. Any event involving 2 or more schools that involves a team from a foreign country, except for two (2) school or three (3) school competition with a school or schools from Canada.
