Notre Dame Academy Student Receives MIAA Student-Athlete of the Month Award January 2024

Brooke Anacleto – Notre Dame Academy
Nominated by Victoria Steffon, Cross Country and Track and Field Coach

Brooke is a student at Notre Dame Academy in Worcester and excels in cross country and track and indoor and outdoor track and field. Nominated by her cross country and track coach Victoria Steffon, Brooke has had a stellar career for the Rebels as she has captained all three programs for three years. A mentor and leader for the younger athletes, Brooke “works hard every day and consistently exhibits admirable behavior.” Her success in the classroom (never receiving any grade lower than an A) and beyond is cause for celebration. 

Brooke not only has impressive accomplishments at NDA but has also taken her talents and applied them beyond as a Dual Enrollment student at Assumption College and Anna Maria College. In addition to this, Brooke has been a captain of the Math Team, conducted research at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, been a Social and Emotional Student Mentor, and a student tutor. In her rare spare time, Brooke assists in the Unified Sports Program, volunteers at the library, and assists with resident care and activities at the Jewish Healthcare Center.
